1889: C. B. Andrews completes the house and moves in. He has a carriage house built in back, along Oak.
1893: Jesse Harris purchases the house and moves in.
Construction of the house begins under Captain Lars P. Kemoe

C. B. Andrews lives in the house and has a carriage house added
“H. W. Schroeder is superintending the erection of a handsome stone carriage house and stable for Mr. C. E. Andrews, on the latter’s property, corner of Oak Remington streets.” (Fort Collins Courier, 25 July 1889, page 1.)
“C. B. Andrews, red stone residence and carriage house, corner of Remington and Oak streets; $10,000.” (Fort Collins Courier, 9 January 1890, page 1.)
“Capt. L. P. Kemoe married Mrs. Rose Stiffler at Loveland, July 1st.” (Weekly Courier, 19 July 1900, page 8.) (I think this was a flash back and I missed that. Rose appears to have married him around 1880ish, they had a couple of kids, then she passed.)
Jesse Harris lives in the house
“Jesse Harris has exchanged the La Belle stock farm with C. B. Andrews for city property, including the latter’s beautiful residence, corner Remington and Oak streets. The amount involved in the deal aggregated something near $44,000. Mr. Harris has moved his family into town and is occupying the Andrews residence.” (Fort Collins Courier, 22 June 1893, page 1.)
Dr. Alston Ellis lives in the house
Ellis was president at the agricultural college. (Fort Collins Courier, 26 October 1893, page 8.)
He had been living at College and Magnolia up until October 8, 1898, Fort Collins Express, page 1.
“Dr. Ellis is now occupying the large stone residence owned by him on the corner of Remington and Oak streets.” (The Weekly Courier, 13 October 1898, page 5.)
The end of his presidency was announced in the 29 April 1899 Fort Collins Express, page 4.
Dr. McHugh lives in the house
“Dr. P. J. McHugh is now the owner by purchase, of the handsome stone residence, corner of Oak and Remington streets, lately owned and now occupied by Dr. Alston Ellis. It will make the doctor and his family a lovely home.” (The Weekly Courier, 15 June 1899, page 8.)
“Mrs. L. P. Kemoe was the guest on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Helgeson. Mr. Kemoe was one of the early settlers of Fort Collins and an excellent stone mason by trade. He built the house Dr. McHugh lives in, the building at the corner of Linden street and Mountain avenue, now occupied by the Wells Fargo Express company, as well as several others. He and his wife left here in 1889, going to Seattle, Washington, where they lived until the past summer, when they returned to Colorado and are now living at Boulder.” (The Weekly Courier, 15 October 1902, page 5.)
