Fort Collins Non-Profits

The Avery House on W. Mountain Ave., home of the Poudre Landmarks Foundation.
Non-profits support and underpin a lot of what helps Fort Collins to grow in a healthy way. From churches and fraternal organizations to non-profits focused on strengthing cultural ties or bringing aid to those in need, non-profits rely heavily on volunteers, help build community, and provide support to local residents.
Poudre Landmarks Foundation
Founded in 1970 as a non-profit arm of the City’s Landmark Preservation Commission. Originally intended to help raise funds for the recreation of the original fort, it was called into action as the City worked diligently to save the Avery house on W. Mountain. The Avery house ended up becoming the PLF’s primary focus in time. Learn more.
